41st Annual Seawall Art Show August 27 & 28

(PORTSMOUTH, VA) – The 41st Annual Seawall Art Show will be held on August 27th and 28th in Portsmouth's historic Olde Towne at High Street and along the waterfront. Over 90 juried artists will present a variety of art pieces including wood carvings, oil paintings, handwoven clothing, art glass, fine jewelry, pottery, and more. Admission to the show is free.

In addition to the art that will be for sale, the show will feature a student art show, entertainment, and food vendors.

The judge of the 2012 Seawall Art Show will be Amy Brandt, McKinnon Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Chrysler Museum of Art. The Seawall Art Show is coordinated by volunteers and is supported by the Portsmouth Museum and Fine Arts Commission.
