4 p.m. Moderated by Eric Mazur, PhD – Many spiritual traditions favor outdoor settings for worship.  Judaism has a limited use of the outdoors in prayer, but in Native American, Wiccan and some Asian setting, communion with nature plays a greater role in worship.  How do these faith communities understand the adaptation of outside space for the works and acts of worship?

Leon Bates at Willett Hall

3 PM - Internationally acclaimed pianist has been described by The New York Times as "a pianist with the touch of the poet."  His repertoire includes classical, popular and jazz music, and works by contemporary composers such as Chick Corea, William Blacom and Samuel Barber.  $21 (adults) $11 (students K - 12).

The Year of the Dragon - a Chinese New Year Celebration

9:00 am- 5:00 pm The community comes together to ring in the New Year and celebrate the Year of the Dragon. Discover Chinese musical instruments, songs and dance with local students. Explore paper art, brush painting techniques, and try your hand at writing in Chinese. Create traditional decorations to take home and celebrate the biggest Chinese holiday of the year.
